Changes in employment regulations and market developments can be the trigger to automate hydraulic presses or 3D laser cutting machines, in order to stay profitable. This may happen when products are too heavy to lift, or when there are not enough people to do the manual labor. Or when you want to work smarter by automating existing tools on your press. This is now possible thanks to FLX, the unique and innovative transfer system of SSEB.
SSEB Systems transfer system FLX is an automation system for new and existing hydraulic presses and 3D laser cutting machines. Using the system, blanks and (semi) finished products can be automatically inserted, placed and taken out from the machine.
FLX is very flexible and suitable for every hydraulic deep drawing press or 3D laser cutting machine. The automation system is developed to allow you to act very quickly to changes in the market, tools or products. FLX is flexibly sized, but also flexible when it comes to use; after installation of the system it will remain possible to work on the machine manually
User-friendly software
The software is very user-friendly and features a unique characteristic. Using a teach-in pendant, the operator can easily program the system.
Wireless teach-in pendant
A unique teach-in pendant allows the operator to easily program the system. All variants of FLX include a wireless teach-in pendant (remote control), an advanced solution for wireless control. Information is shown on the teach-in pendant via a feedback facility. Proportional buttons allow very precise control.
The built-in safety utilities meet the most stringent requirements. Because of this, the FLX system is very well applicable in workplaces where risks must be limited to a minimum, such as where hoisting and pressing takes place. All axis of the FLX transfer system can be controlled both individually and simultaneously using the teach-in pendant. The desired positions of the FLX transfer system can be registered as a recipe, enabling programming recipes for every unique product and/or application.
