Automation in the manufacturing and process industries is often about process automation, DCS, PCS and PLC systems. Optimally programming these requires state-of-the-art software, such as CoDeSys. The SSEB programmers are very skilled with this software.

The PLC is the heart of a machine. It closely cooperates with various components in the control box. These are connected by means of Ethernet or CANBUS. And all components are programmed separately using product-specific software.

Motor controllers and touch-screens, for instance, are programmed with their own software, and communicate with the PLC using a specific protocol. SSEB programmers like to work with e.g. Festo products and software.

At SSEB, PLC programming is mainly done using CoDeSys.
